Programme Chair: Fred Cutler (fred.cutler@ubc.ca)

Programme Committee Members: Barbara Arneil, Gerald Baier

Keynote Speaker: Dr. Kathryn Harrison, Professor of Political Science, UBC-Vancouver
“Why British Columbia’s Climate Politics are Important for Political Scientists”

The Programme Committee invites submissions for participation in the 2013 BCPSA Annual Conference. Using the online system, you may submit proposals for single papers, multiple paper panels (including discussants), and roundtables. Paper proposals should be abstract-length. We welcome proposals from all areas of political science and seek a final programme reflective of the broadest range of methodological and theoretical approaches, as well as substantive areas of inquiry in the discipline.

We encourage proposals from students.  M.A. and undergraduate student submissions must include the name and email address of the student’s supervisor. If provisionally accepted, the programme committee will contact the supervisor to ensure that the paper is sufficiently well developed and that the student is prepared for presentation and panel discussion.

All proposals are due by February 28, 2013 and proposers will be notified of acceptance by March 20, 2013.

To submit a proposal please use https://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=bcpsa2013. To use this system you are required to establish a user account in order to submit a proposal.

Details on registration costs are below. Details on conference hotels, meals, and plenary speakers will appear soon on this page. The association is unable to provide support for travel; participants must make their own travel arrangements.
